Job Summary
Provide comprehensive medical care to neonates in a Level III NICU, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans, participate in quality improvement and research initiatives, and guide nursing staff and residents in managing neonatal emergencies and high-risk deliveries; requires MD/DO in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, board certification/eligibility, and experience in Level III NICU settings; relocation assistance available; Mercyhealth/Javon Bea Hospital in Rockford, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Pediatrics
- MD/DO board certified/board eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in care of critically ill neonates, including neonatal resuscitation and advanced life support techniques
