Job Summary
Care for assigned obstetrics and gynecology patients visiting women's clinics within or connected to partner hospitals and oversee Nurse Practitioners. Manage on-call duty for weeknights and weekends, maintaining availability within a 20-minute drive of the facility. Provide full-scope clinical services under a block scheduling model of five shifts with a five-on/ten-off rotation, covering approximately one-third of the year. Travel and lodging costs are covered for call duties. This role supports Fauquier Health, part of LifePoint Health, which delivers approximately 450 births annually and offers personalized midwifery support from certified nurse midwives.
