Join the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at UMass Memorial Health for multiple anesthesiology opportunities in Worcester, MA. Roles include Abdominal Organ Transplant Anesthesiologists, Ambulatory Anesthesiologist, Attending Anesthesiologist with Trauma Focus, Obstetric Anesthesiologist, Regional Anesthesiologist, and more. Case mix spans general, minimally invasive, bariatric, orthopedic (including trauma/spine/joint replacement), thoracic, vascular, neurosurgical, ENT, hepatobiliary, urology, IVF and GYN, with coverage of non-OR locations and anesthesia for GI services. Responsibilities include supervising CRNAs within the anesthesia care team, educating residents in a fully integrated program, opportunities in education and medical simulation, QI work and research, and participation in a high-volume practice (approximately 60,000 anesthetics/year). Compensation ranges between $447k-$520k with a competitive package including sign-on bonus, relocation support, comprehensive benefits, PTO, CME support, retirement contributions, loan forgiveness options, and tuition reimbursement. Requires MD/DO and MA license eligibility; board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology. Eligible candidates will be considered for an on-site practice in Worcester, MA, with potential involvement across multiple subspecialties and clinical settings.
