The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at UMass Memorial Medical Group is seeking highly skilled anesthesiologists in multiple subspecialties for full-time roles in Worcester, MA. Opportunities include Abdominal Organ Transplant, Ambulatory Anesthesiology, Trauma-focused Generalist, Obstetric Anesthesiology in Labor and Delivery, Regional Anesthesiology, and more. Responsibilities include providing anesthesia across general, minimally invasive, bariatric, orthopedic (including trauma and spine), thoracic, vascular, neurosurgical, ENT, hepatobiliary, urology, IVF, and GYN cases; involvement in non-OR services (vascular and neuro IR, interventional labs, GI anesthesia); supervision of CRNAs within an anesthesia care team; teaching residents in a fully integrated program; engagement in education, medical simulation, quality improvement, and research; participating in up to ~60,000 annual cases; and opportunities for built-in post-call days and additional call income. Qualifications include MD or DO and MA licensure eligibility with board certification/eligibility in anesthesiology.
