Job Summary
Exceptional Pediatrician needed to join a rural health clinic team in Placerville, CA. The role focuses on outpatient pediatrics with occasional newborn nursery rounds and limited deliveries, in a collaborative, well-supported setting. The physician will work with an established team (4 pediatricians, 1 NP) in a modern clinic with Epic EMR, participate in call rotation, and contribute to high-quality infant and pediatric care. Compensation includes a competitive salary range ($272,400–$330,000), generous benefits, sign-on and relocation bonuses, productivity bonus, PSLF site eligibility, HSA/401K match, malpractice coverage, and a 4–5 day workweek with about 32 face-to-face patient care hours and 188 workdays/year. Opportunities for professional growth, involvement in a Level 1 nursery, obstetric collaboration, and strong links to regional pediatric services are highlighted. No visa sponsorship is available. Located in the Sierra Foothills with a high quality of life and easy access to outdoor recreation and nearby cities.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO in pediatrics
- board-certified or board-eligible pediatrics
- licensure in California or eligibility
- EMR experience (Epic)
- ability to work in outpatient pediatrics with newborn nursery rounds and limited deliveries
- relocation assistance preferred
- PSLF eligibility beneficial? (not required)
