Job Summary
Teaches and implements IEP goals and NC SCOS lessons and extensions; performs non-academic activities such as lunch, encore, recess, and hallway duties; provides self-help and medical support as needed; assists with instruction preparation and behavior management; helps supervise students and maintain safety; supports individual students or small groups under the supervision of the Principal; requires patience, dependability, and the ability to learn new skills while collaborating with school staff to assist special education pupils.
Required Qualifications
- 48 college credit hours
- 2 year Associate’s Degree
