Job Summary
EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN TEACHER ASSISTANT provides individual academic and behavioral support to students with disabilities under the supervision of a teacher, may lead small group activities, and assists with general housekeeping duties. Requires college credits in education or related area (60 semester hours/90 quarter hours; 48 semester hours acceptable) and works full-time for 10 months with pay in the stated hourly range. Responsibilities include assisting supervising teacher with instructions, supporting quality instruction, and providing administrative/clerical support as needed.
