EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN (EC) TEACHER

The Exceptional Children (EC) Teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, and presenting instruction that supports students' educational and social development. Key duties include managing instructional time efficiently, establishing behavior management procedures, providing instructional feedback, monitoring student performance, and facilitating instructional activities. The teacher is required to maintain a safe classroom environment, interact effectively with students and staff, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. A license to teach from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction is necessary for this position.
