Exceptional Children Bus Monitor

Assist exceptional students on the bus with equipment use and entry/exit; secure wheelchairs, seat belts, and other safety devices; restrain students as required by IEP/504; seat students and monitor behavior from a strategic location; diffuse conflicts using approved training resources; report problems to the designated authority; assist the bus driver with backing and evacuation planning; know the bus route; be a team player and maintain confidentiality; maintain the work schedule as assigned by the supervisor; lift regularly and operate specialized equipment; requires high school graduation and may include college credits or WorkKeys; location is Pilot Mountain, NC; part-time role; in-person duties.
