Exceptional Children Bus Monitor - Morning route

Rides a school bus on assigned morning route to transport students, supervising boarding and alighting, and assisting students with disabilities. Maintains safety and order by enforcing seat belts/harnesses, follows emergency procedures, aids the driver, learns routes, and supports students’ individual needs under I.E.P.Keeps attendance, completes required reports, and performs related duties. Requires high school graduation and a NC Class A/B CDL with school bus certification; strong knowledge of safety regulations, patient demeanor with students, and ability to manage behavior and communicate with guardians and school personnel.
