Job Summary
Special Education LBD Teacher responsible for developing and implementing special education programs, providing direct services to support inclusion in the general curriculum, and designing professional development for emergency/probationary certified teachers. Responsibilities include modifying the general curriculum for students with disabilities, evaluating modifications and placement, training and evaluating teachers for collaboration, maintaining regular attendance, integrating technology, and staying current with research. Includes evaluating district-wide data on student performance and contributing to inclusion efforts within schools. Reports to the Superintendent and aligns with policy on evaluation of certified personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Kentucky Teaching Certificate with proper endorsements.
