Job Summary
Accurately pick, stage, and process materials and parts to support daily production and shipping needs. Operate a variety of material handling equipment such as forklifts, telehandlers, and pallet jacks to safely move materials throughout the facility. Deliver materials to designated points of use on the production floor or within the warehouse, ensuring efficient flow and minimal downtime. Collaborate closely with assembly teams and warehouse staff to anticipate material needs and respond quickly to requests. Support a culture of safety and compliance by following all OSHA regulations and company policies related to material handling and workplace conduct. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment through regular housekeeping and 5S practices. Utilize hand and power tools as needed for packaging, kitting, or basic material prep. Participate actively in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed and aligned with operational goals. Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory activities, helping to ensure accuracy and reliability in material tracking systems.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 or more years of experience
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to operate a variety of material handling equipment such as forklifts, telehandlers, and pallet jacks
- Must be proficient in the use of a PC, Microsoft Office Suite, and Viewpoint and Access database
- Must be able to follow all OSHA regulations and company policies related to material handling and workplace conduct
- Must be able to perform cycle counts and physical inventory activities
- Must be able to pass a background and drug test
- Must be able to participate in E-Verify
