Job Summary
Monitor operations to improve productivity and efficiency while designing efficient production processes and workflows that meet quality standards. Reduce waste and address production issues by evaluating data to implement technological improvements and minimizing costs through strict controls. Work with departments to develop design and production standards, prepare inventory analysis and procurement orders, and design facility layouts. Ensure all work processes remain safe by addressing safety concerns and generating process reports. Support the hiring referral and mentoring program as appropriate. This role requires a BS in industrial engineering or a related field with 2-3 years of manufacturing experience, with a standard 7 AM to 5 PM Monday-Friday schedule subject to business needs.
Required Qualifications
- BS in industrial engineering or related field such as manufacturing or mechanical engineering
- 2-3 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing methods
- 10/25% travel
- Must be able to work between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday
- Must be able to work at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs
- Must be able to pass a background and drug test
- Must be eligible for E-Verify
