Job Summary
Monitor operations to improve productivity and efficiency by designing efficient production processes and workflows that ensure quality standards. Reduce waste and address production issues by evaluating data to implement technological improvements and minimizing costs through strict controls. Review production schedules, specifications, and facility layouts while preparing inventory analysis and procurement orders to meet production needs. Collaborate with departments to develop design and production standards, create process documentation, and ensure all work processes remain safe. Actively participate in the hiring referral and mentoring program as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- BS in industrial engineering or related field such as manufacturing or mechanical engineering
- 2-3 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing methods
- 10/25% travel
- Must be able to work between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday
- Must be able to work at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs
- Must be able to pass a background and drug test
- Must be eligible for E-Verify
