Job Summary
Monitor operations to improve productivity and efficiency, designing efficient production processes and workflows that ensure quality standards. Reduce waste and address production issues by reviewing schedules, processes, and specifications, while evaluating data to implement technological improvements. Implement controls to monitor costs, prepare inventory analysis and procurement orders, and design facility layouts and personnel requirements. Work with departments to develop design and production standards, create instruction manuals, and ensure safe work processes by addressing safety concerns. Generate process reports and actively participate in the hiring referral and mentoring program. Requires a BS in industrial engineering or related field with 2-3 years of manufacturing experience. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM, with potential travel of 10-25%.
Required Qualifications
- BS in industrial engineering or related field such as manufacturing or mechanical engineering
- 2-3 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing methods
- 10/25% travel
- Must be able to work between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday
- Must be able to work at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs
- Must pass a background and drug test
- Must be eligible for E-Verify
