Orthopaedic Surgeon sought to join Mercyhealth’s team in Freeport, IL. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary orthopedic team including three orthopedic surgeons and advanced practice professionals to provide high-quality same-day discharges after total joint surgery when appropriate. The role features four days per week of direct patient care with on-call responsibility (1:3). Practice is housed within the FHN Family Healthcare Center – Burchard Hills, a multi-specialty clinic near a regional hospital. Compensation ranges from $750k–$900k with production-based incentives after the first year, plus relocation assistance, a sign-on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. Currently recruiting board-certified or board-eligible physicians, with new graduates welcome. Requirements include MD/DO degree, AGGME-accredited residency, and excellent teamwork and communication skills.
