Job Summary
Cover labor and delivery including c-sections, perform inpatient rounding, and manage discharges at Mercyhealth System's Freeport facility. Partner with the Northwest Regional Perinatal Center and Level III NICU in Rockford, IL, utilizing vast multi-subspecialty referral sources and the EPIC EMR system. This full-time, 100% inpatient role includes eight 24-hour shifts per month with no call. Board certified or board eligible physicians with at least three years of inpatient experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program
- Must have at least three years of inpatient experience
- MD/DO board certified/board eligible
- Skilled at providing exceptional care
- The ability to communicate clearly and work as a member of a team
