Job Summary
Hematology/Oncology physician needed at Martinsburg VA Medical Center for full-time clinical care including evaluation and treatment of hematology/oncology patients, determining inpatient vs outpatient management, ordering diagnostics, coordinating care with VA/community providers, supervising residents/physician assistants, and providing patient/family education; schedule Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm with comprehensive benefits and potential CME support.
Required Qualifications
- Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State/Territory/Columbia
- Residency Training approved by VA for board certification eligibility
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may be appointed when not possible to recruit qualified citizens (per VA policy)
- Preferred Experience: Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology

- Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States
- Residency training approved leading to eligibility for board certification
