Job Summary
Outpatient-focused Cardiology physician role at Martinsburg VA Medical Center with inpatient consults; responsibilities include interpreting diagnostic tests (Echo, TEE, stress testing, Holter/Zio, EKG), collaborating in a Veteran-centered care model, and teaching residents and medical students. VA benefits include loan repayment ($200K), generous leave, federal holidays, malpractice coverage, comprehensive insurance, retirement plans, and CME support. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with limited call and a balanced lifestyle. Optional research opportunities. Required Qualifications
- Cardiology physician credential (Board-eligible or board-certified)
- MD or equivalent medical degree
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the United States (VA system)
- Ability to teach residents and medical students (academic affiliations available)
