Job Summary
As a Communication Partner in Volvo Group's ExcelHer returnship program, contribute to the development and execution of internal communication plans for the Lyon & International region, advise management on communication topics to strengthen employee engagement, coach leaders to build strong communication skills, and coordinate a network of Communication Ambassadors across Asian sites. The role operates within a three-person Communications team, supports global internal communication initiatives, and may involve occasional overseas travel. Based in Bangalore, India, the program spans 9 months and targets women re-entering the workforce after a break, offering professional development and mentoring as part of SO&T’s service operations and technology functions. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, help shape the regional communication roadmap, and drive effective communication to enable uptime, trust, profitability, and sustainable growth for Volvo Group customers.
Required Qualifications
- At least 4-5 years of hands-on relevant experience in internal communication, especially in a global organization
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to manage multiple topics in parallel and meet deadlines
- Open and positive attitude, curiosity, and motivation for continuous learning and professional growth
