Job Summary
Teach any topic of your choice to students during after-school enrichment activities at three elementary schools and Wy'east Middle School. Schedule your specific days, hours, or fill-in shifts between late September 2026 and spring, covering 100 days at elementary sites or 120 days at the middle school. Earn $28/hour while instructing students to improve academic, interpersonal, and daily living skills within a program funded by the Oregon Department of Education. Prior experience with ELL or Title I students is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a minimum of 72 quarter credits of college coursework, an Associate's degree, or have a passing score on the CBEST or another accepted Paraprofessional assessment
- Pass a nation-wide, criminal justice fingerprint clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Possess a skill or talent that you would like to teach or instruct students in
- Prior experience working with ELL or Title I students
- Paid experience working with after school or extended year programs
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn current educational practices, and research validated curriculum
- Knowledge and understanding of the needs and issues related to the student population served
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills
