Job Summary
Conduct new excavations for sanitary, water, rain, and gas lines, including excavation and repair for broken sewer and water lines. Perform concrete slab cutting, hammering, removal, and restoration while locating well heads in residential and commercial environments. Collaborate with plumbing installation or service team members to complete installations and repairs, utilizing JD30 or Bobcat 418 mini excavators, skid loaders, and various concrete saws. Maintain equipment and adhere to One-Call procedures when digging around utilities. Work a 5-day week with a typical 9-hour day, earning paid overtime after 40 hours, while assisting with plumbing system installation and repairs year-round.
Required Qualifications
- Operating JD30 / similar mini excavator
- Operating Bobcat 418 / similar mini excavator
- Operating skid loader
- Hammer attachments
- Walk behind concrete saw
- Handheld concrete saw / cutoff saw for pipe
- Dump Truck – single axle – non-CDL
- Trailering Equipment
- Maintaining Equipment
- Driver's License - Medical Card Required
- Familiar with One-Call procedures and experience in digging around utilities
- Eager to learn and work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Authorized to work in the U.S
- Successful background test
- Drug screening results
- Live within a commutable distance to the Souderton Pa area
Desired Qualifications
- CDL license a plus but not required
