Job Summary
Operate a 20-50t GPS excavator for detailed excavation and run GPS systems including Trimble Earthworks or GCS900 to load Moxys and road trains to required output. Manage stockpile areas with a loader and maintain LOT (load out tracking) for materials. Complete daily plant pre-starts before each shift and report machine faults immediately. Work well with your team, follow instructions, and adhere to safety gear and site security requirements for this Defence precinct project. Night shifts are required when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Previous civil construction experience
- Valid White Card (mandatory)
- Relevant tickets and licences aligned to the role
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance
- Willingness to comply with site security, access controls, and project-specific clearance requirements
- Ability to work night shift when needed
- Ability to work well with your team
- Ability to follow instructions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating a 20-50t GPS excavator
- Experience running GPS systems including Trimble Earthworks or GCS900
- Experience operating a loader
- Experience managing LOT (load out tracking) for materials
- Ability to complete daily plant pre-starts
- Ability to report faults or problems with the machine straight away
- Ability to keep the work area clean and clear of hazards
