Job Summary
Experienced Excavator Operator needed for Park Paving Ltd.’s Edmonton-based Excavation Services Division. Requires strong operating knowledge of excavators, safe operation, and ability to perform pre/post trip inspections and basic maintenance. Responsibilities include rigging, completing daily logs and safety documentation, working long hours/overtime in a physically demanding setting, collaborating with crewmembers and subcontracted trucks to keep work efficient, and maintaining excavator tracks. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a medical/fitness exam; must contribute to a safety-minded, high-productivity team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass medical/fitness exam as a condition of employment
- Experience operating excavators
- Strong safety mindset and accountability
- Ability to perform pre/post trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Ability to complete daily logs and safety documentation
- Ability to work long hours/overtime in a physically demanding environment
