Excavator Operator

Operate heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, scrapers, backhoes, rollers, blade, and skid steer on construction projects, typically working in a utility capacity. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned machinery, load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers, and complete required paperwork and forms. Coordinate machine actions with crew members in response to hand or audio signals while following all safety rules on the job site. Requires 3-5 years of experience operating heavy equipment; position involves physically demanding tasks with long seat hours and possible travel.
