Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment including excavators and other machinery, perform lubrication and general maintenance, follow safety procedures, and participate in weekly safety meetings. Must be willing to travel and work nights/weekends as needed, read and interpret safety and operating manuals, and work in a team environment while maintaining a professional demeanor. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience operating or working around heavy equipment
- Basic math skills
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to travel and work nights and weekends when necessary
- Team work ability
- Ability to follow directions
- Compliance with safety practices and company policies
