Job Summary
Prioritize safety by strictly adhering to OSHA and Roto-Rooter protocols while performing residential and commercial excavations to resolve plumbing issues. Operate back-hoes, mini-excavators, and skid steers to excavate and load materials, then proceed with pipe repairs or new installations. Navigate excavation environments, including confined spaces and open trenches, and locate job sites in a timely manner while driving service vehicles. Complete projects within specified timelines and interact with customers as needed. Requires hands-on excavation experience, a valid driver's license (or CDL within 90 days), and flexibility for nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in excavation projects for both residential and commercial construction settings
- Valid driver's license
- Commercial driver's license (depending on the vehicle driven)
- Proficiency in navigating excavation environments, including confined spaces and trench operations
- Current CDL or ability to obtain within 90 days if necessary for the vehicle driven
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
