Job Summary
Screen applicants, conduct interviews, and assess suitability against cruise line standards while managing candidate pipelines for specific clients. Coordinate onboarding processes including documentation, medicals, training schedules, visa arrangements, and pre-departure briefings. Communicate with cruise line representatives to secure assignment approvals and deployment dates, then provide mentorship to first-time seafarers leveraging your own shipboard experience. Maintain accurate candidate records using internal systems and assist with talent development projects. This role supports the recruitment and onboarding function for an agency placing crew on cruise ships, utilizing your background in F&B, housekeeping, entertainment, or deck/engine departments to guide new hires through their journey at sea.
Required Qualifications
- Previous cruise ship experience in any department (F&B, housekeeping, entertainment, deck/engine, etc.)
- Strong understanding of shipboard operations and crew life
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, reliable, and capable of managing multiple tasks or projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and online collaboration tools
