Job Summary
Gather materials, read cut sheets to determine quantity and size, and set up machines to ensure accurate i-joist cuts. Maintain inventory with accurate product counts and manage equipment servicing schedules while meeting daily, weekly, and team production goals. Operate equipment safely, immediately reporting any defects or safety issues to the supervisor. Work in a team environment in inclement weather from Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm, with occasional weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Possess manual dexterity and the ability to do repetitious work
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and verbal instruction
- Must be able to work at a fast pace
- Ability to work in inclement weather
- Ability to work in a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and expertise in the use of a variety of tools; including light chainsaw maintenance, a plus, but not required
- Knowledge of safety procedures while handling saws and other tools, a plus, but not required
