Job Summary

Support aircraft wiring systems to ensure designs are producible, compliant, and production-ready by identifying installation risks and driving corrective actions. Provide on-site engineering support for production issues related to wire insulation damage, harness deviations, and connector termination problems while defining acceptable rework solutions. Ensure adherence to FAA/EASA EWIS requirements and SAE AS50881 standards by reviewing wiring changes for safety and continued airworthiness. Interface with electrical design, manufacturing, quality, and production teams to coordinate engineering changes and continuous improvement initiatives. Compile progress reports to convey deliverable objectives. This role requires onsite presence in Little Rock, Arkansas, with a competitive hourly rate of $35–$40.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years supporting aircraft wiring/EWIS in an aerospace OEM or production environment
  • Strong understanding of aircraft wiring systems and installations
  • Strong understanding of harness manufacturing and installation practices
  • Strong understanding of EWIS regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Experience in industrialization, production support, or MRB‐adjacent roles
  • Familiarity with wiring diagrams, EWIS drawings, and aircraft installation manuals
  • Experience working in an embedded engineering services role is preferred
  • Hands‐on exposure to shop‐floor wiring installation and integration is highly desirable
