Job Summary
EVS Tech II-Housekeeping at Northwestern Medicine, part-time (20 hours/week, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with every-other-weekend rotation) located at Lake Forest Hospital. Responsible for cleaning and maintaining patient rooms, offices, public areas, and treatment spaces; handling trash and linens; sanitizing surfaces; following isolation and PPE procedures; stocking supplies; maintaining equipment; promoting workplace safety; coordinating with supervisors and hospital staff; contributing to continuous improvement and cost-reduction efforts; providing accurate information and directions to patients and customers; delivering quality service with a professional demeanor and teamwork across departments.
Required Qualifications
- Must exhibit the ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff
- Must be able to use the proper tracking and communication tools utilized by department
- Must be able to work independently
