Job Summary
Monitor assigned areas and corridors for debris, then clean corners, edges, and baseboards while dust mopping hard floors and removing marks or scuffs. Damp mop floors with proper chemicals or utilize scrubbing machines, and employ high-speed floor machines for stripping, resurfacing, and burnishing projects as assigned. Perform related duties including waste disposal and general area cleaning as required. Work the 2nd shift from 3:30pm to 12:00am with rotational weekends and holidays at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Hourly rate is $18.00 with a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Experience in floor restoration is required, with medical cleaning experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in floor restoration projects
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent
- Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test
- Ability to lift, carry, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses
