Job Summary
Maintain the cleanliness of trash cans, windows, doors, mirrors, elevators, floors, furniture, and fixtures in the Casino, public areas, offices, and other required zones. Clean between slot machines, remove debris, empty ashtrays, wipe down equipment, and sanitize all bathrooms according to established procedures. Communicate with management and co-workers via two-way radio while dealing with guests in a friendly manner and reporting maintenance or emergency needs immediately. Clean biohazards per proper protocols and assist in other areas as requested. May include evenings, weekends, and holidays based on casino operating hours.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in environmental services or a related field
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions
- The ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
- Use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls
- The ability to regularly lift and/or move objects weighing at least 50 pounds and push or pull items weighing up to 100 pounds with assistance
- The ability to work in an environment with a moderate noise level
- The ability to be exposed to several factors, including dust, cigarette smoke, and possibly various outside weather conditions
- May include evenings, weekends, and holidays based on casino operating hours
- Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a casino or hospitality environment is a plus
