Job Summary
This EVS role cleans and services areas such as guest, patient, public, clinical and administrative areas, maintaining a clean, aseptic environment. Responsibilities include maintaining Environmental closet and equipment in a clean, aseptic, and orderly manner; assisting with restock of cafe and bar; assisting with special cleaning projects and room turnover; and ensuring compliance with Joint Commission / CMS regulations pertaining to Environment of Care and Cleaning requirements. Requires the ability to read, write and speak English and to work in a healthcare setting with a flexible schedule. This is a part-time evening position with duties that support patient and staff safety and comfort in a hospital environment.
Required Qualifications
- Education Required - None
- Preferred- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in operating environmental services equipment (dust mop, wet mop, bucket and wringer, spray bottles, dustpan)
- Ability to read, write and speak/understand verbal communication in English to follow instructions and perform daily tasks
