Job Summary
Oversee Environmental Services technicians and specialists in maintaining a sanitary and attractive hospital condition, ensuring patient rooms are cleaned and sanitized per policy upon discharge. Direct daily operations including vacuuming, spot cleaning, carpet extraction, wet mopping, floor buffing, and window/wall/ceiling cleaning. Manage waste transport by moving soiled textiles to the loading dock, transporting trash to compactors, and returning empty dumpsters and carts to the 5th floor. Utilize cleaning supplies and disinfectants in correct ratios while supervising equipment maintenance and assisting in supply selection and employee scheduling. Work the second shift (3:00pm–11:30pm) with 40 hours weekly, reporting to the Manager of Environmental Services.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Environmental Services and associated chemical handling
- Must adhere to established hospital and Environmental Services Department policies, rules and regulations

- High School Diploma or equivalent
