Job Summary
Maintains cleanliness of hospital interior areas and supports a safe environment by performing cleaning tasks to meet sanitation standards. Cleans toilets, basins, showers, floors, and interior furnishings; transports and disposes of soiled linen, trash, and bio-medical waste; labels and handles infectious waste; operates cleaning equipment; maintains stock of supplies; collaborates with patients, guests and caregivers to ensure a comfortable, safe environment. Participates in quality improvement activities, supports Lean/VIP principles, and adheres to regulatory and hospital guidelines. Works the first shift (0530-1400) in Madras, OR, as part of Environmental Services at St. Charles Health System.
