Job Summary
Cleans hospital areas including walls, lights, fixtures, and furniture to maintain an aseptic environment; performs floor care, carpeting, and heavy cleaning across the facility; ensures safe handling and storage of hospital chemicals; supports infection control and quality standards; operates cleaning equipment and restocks supplies in patient-care areas; requires a High School diploma or equivalent and English proficiency; CHEST and HWOERT certifications are preferred within the first year; shifts include days and involve on-site hospital duties.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CHEST (Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Technician) preferred within first year
- HWOERT (Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response Training) certificate
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
