Job Summary
Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms, bathrooms, nursing stations, utility rooms, exam rooms, and common areas. Maintain floors, carpets, furniture, fixtures, and surfaces through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting. Restock supplies to ensure patient rooms are ready for new admissions, remove waste to designated collection areas, and complete required documentation. Follow cleaning schedules, infection control standards, and all organizational policies while adhering to HIPAA compliance and safety procedures. Safely handle biohazardous materials and operate heavy floor care equipment. This entry-level position offers full-time or part-time schedules with benefits including paid time off, health insurance, and retirement plans.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete required documentation
- Commitment to excellent customer service and patient care standards
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Lift up to 50 lbs. and transport up to 300 lbs. on carts
- Push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, reach, and climb ladders as needed
- Safely operate heavy floor care and cleaning equipment and machinery
