Job Summary
Develop and implement Acclaim Physician Group's mission and strategic plan while overseeing operations of medical group and hospital-based physician practices. Direct all aspects of patient care, financial management, and accreditation, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies. Represent the group with government agencies, third-party payers, and other health organizations, serving as the liaison between system leadership and medical group colleagues. Lead and direct lines of business, manage physician credentialing, and optimize revenue opportunities through marketing and efficiency improvements. Provide executive leadership in establishing strategic vision, adapt to clinical and regulatory changes, and promote accountability across all practices.
Required Qualifications
- Current Medical Doctor (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited school of medicine
- Minimum of five years of increasingly responsible administrative experience in physician leadership roles
- Medical degree with appropriate residency training within specialty
- Board certification or board eligible with valid medical license
- Master's Degree (MBA, MHA)
- Demonstrated track record of a progressive leadership experience in a multi-specialty medical group
- Track record of creative problem solving and innovation within your field of expertise that demonstrates vision, follow-through, and ethical decision making
- Highly skilled in physician practice management
- Deep experience in operations, finance, quality/safety, physician recruitment and retention, and physician compensation
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment
- Demonstrated track record successfully leading an organization through tremendous change and integration
- Outstanding relationship skills and the ability to collaboratively partner with senior hospital and system executives, board members, and outside constituents
