Job Summary
Process and maintain law enforcement evidence and related records, including receiving, staging, importing, and transferring property while preserving chain of custody. Enter data into the records management system, conduct NCIC/CCIC searches, and perform accurate case intake and verification. Complete scheduled audits, manage offsite facilities such as the impound lot and hazardous materials locker, and coordinate destructions of evidence using established procedures. Prepare and present viewings for attorneys, respond to public and department inquiries, and provide after-hours on-call assistance on a rotational basis. Transport evidence off-site for lab analysis and court in compliance with state and federal laws.
Required Qualifications

- GED, High School Diploma
- Preferred - 1-2 years of law enforcement or clerical-administrative experience
