Job Summary
Evergreen Engineering Director role with remote-first posture; leads cross-functional teams and up to six direct reports, serving as technical lead and engineering leader to establish best practices, deliver maintainable, accessible software, and mentor engineers. Collaborates with researchers, designers, and government/client stakeholders within an agile environment to deliver impactful technologies across a modern stack, while participating in business development when needed. Senior-level leadership responsibilities include shaping technical direction, coordinating with the engineering leadership team, and guiding projects from ideation through delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading engineering teams
- Experience with open-source languages and modern frameworks
- Strong knowledge of APIs, databases, and cloud architectures
