Events Service Manager

Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and execute all assigned corporate, social, and member-sponsored group events from turnover through final billing. Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the Club while managing Banquet Event Orders, timelines, and room layouts. Conduct planning meetings, site visits, and walkthroughs to ensure operational readiness across Food & Beverage, Culinary, Golf Operations, and other internal units. Maintain financial accountability by reviewing deposits, verifying billing accuracy, and completing post-event reconciliation. Monitor event timelines, coordinate vendor requirements, and proactively communicate solutions to protect the guest experience. Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support the Director of Events & Catering with departmental projects and additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred in Hospitality, Event Management or related field)
- Minimum (3) years of event experience (preferred in hospitality or club)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to complex situations
- Ability to learn all aspects of Club policies, room specifications and menu offerings
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or GED
- Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License
- Must be able to push, pull, bend, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Likely this role will require the ability to drive a golf cart to transport from one area of the property to another in a safe and secure manner
- Must be able to work outside or inside and in different types of weather including excessive heat, cold temperatures, rain and sunshine
- Must be able to stand and move around for the entirety or majority of their shift
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in baking and pastry arts or equivalent relevant work experience
- Experience with Club Management Software
- Preferred in Hospitality, Event Management or related field
- Preferred in hospitality or club
