Job Summary
Set up event spaces with tables and chairs according to specifications, then serve food and wine while delivering outstanding hospitality. Share information on the menu, wines, winery, and winery history, and work closely with the culinary and events teams to ensure seamless service. Assist with event breakdown and winery closing duties. This part-time variable hour position offers approximately 20 hours/week, with shifts running from 3:30 PM–12:00 AM, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, or 12:00 PM–8:00 PM. Most events occur on weekends, with corporate gatherings held Tuesday through Thursday.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to work evenings, at least two weekends per month, and occasional holidays
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. throughout a shift
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and carry food and beverage trays for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive motions, including reaching, pushing, pulling, grasping, and opening/pouring wine bottles
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of serving, catering, banquet, or event hospitality experience preferred
- Passion for providing exceptional guest service
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
