Job Summary
Oversee all service aspects of banquet functions and weddings by assisting with setup according to specifications, managing place settings, carrying trays, serving entrees, pouring beverages, and clearing tables. Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service after events. Interact with club staff, members, and guests while pitching in with other departments based on business needs. Maintain an overall understanding of banquet event functions and activities. Work varying shifts including days, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays. Requires frequent standing, walking, stooping, twisting, bending, pushing, pulling, or climbing stairs.
Required Qualifications
- Adhere to grooming, appearance, and uniform standards
- One year of recent serving experience
- Must continuously demonstrate a positive, upbeat, and customer-focused attitude
- Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and other high volume days and times
- Must be at least 17 years of age
Desired Qualifications
- hotel or banquet environment
- High school degree or higher-level education
- A minimum of 2 years of Banquet/Wedding experience
- Solid time management, organization and prioritization skills
