Job Summary
Greets guests, takes orders, and presents menus while entering requests into the Micros POS system. Relays orders to the kitchen, serves food and drinks including wine and beer, and clears tables between courses. Totals bills, accepts payments, or directs patrons to the cashier, ensuring stations remain stocked and equipment is cleaned. Works part-time or on-call in an indoor, environmentally controlled setting at the Alaska Airlines Center. Requires a high school diploma, age 21 or older, one year of server experience, and TAPS ID verification.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be 21 years of age or older to serve and prepare alcohol
- At least 1 year of server experience in the restaurant or food service industry
- Observes extensive grooming, customer service, and uniform/ dress standards
- Contract requires employees to speak, understand, read and write English
Desired Qualifications
- Municipality of Alaska Food Handlers Card or ServSafe Certification contingent upon 30 days of hire
- Must have Training for Alcohol Professionals (TAP) certification; or have been formally trained in alcohol management/serving
