Events Project Manager

Job Summary

Own the beginning, middle, and end of every project from planning through on-site delivery. Interpret client requirements accurately, produce full event response proposals, and manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining commercial awareness and budget control. Ensure post-event activity supports continuous improvement and oversee all health and safety processes. Clearly communicate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Manage delegate and crew logistics, including online registration, while leading teams through complex operational delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • At least three years' working in an Event Management role
  • Strong credible leadership
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Thorough and organised approach
  • Experience running logistically challenging events
  • First-class operational delivery across a varied portfolio of projects
  • Excellent rapport-building, active listening and communication skills
  • Top-notch delegate and crew logistics management
  • A real passion for operational and financial efficiency
  • Experience leading, directing or coordinating teams through event management
  • Knowledge of production elements including technical, design, print, video, multi-media and presentation
  • Experience in delegate management, including online registration
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Good computer literacy skills (particularly working across the various MS packages)
  • The role will be based primarily in Hartlebury, Manchester or London offices
  • Flexibility to work from other places and undertake commercial duties both in the UK and overseas
