Events, Outreach, and Partnership Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate events, outreach, and partnerships for a nonprofit organization. Responsibilities include supporting community relations and partnerships, recruiting and coordinating volunteers, planning and executing community engagement events, maintaining donor and partner databases and MOUs, assisting with fundraising and communications (including social media and media relations), and collaborating with state office and site coordinators to advance school-focused initiatives. Requires strong organization, relationship-building, data management, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with professionalism and teamwork, while adhering to donor and partner policies. Must be able to pass background checks and travel as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (focus on journalism, marketing, or a related field is a plus)
- Minimum two years event coordination experience
- Office Administration or administrative experience is a plus
- Strong communication and written skills, adaptable, and the ability to shift priorities
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 required
- Experience managing donor and volunteer databases
- Ability to work well under limited supervision
- Well-connected in education, social service and/or business community a plus
- Sensitivity to needs of youth and varying ethnic populations
