Job Summary
Leads strategy and execution of sponsorships and events to raise brand awareness for Astound; negotiates and manages large-scale events with major for-profit and non-profit associations, coordinating with market leaders on sales, community, and SMB events. Responsibilities include procuring vendors and brand ambassadors, coordinating run-of-show and event materials, supporting TV/radio/digital promotional copy, coordinating reciprocal media opportunities, driving social outreach and promotional campaigns, monitoring budgets and invoices, managing programmer relationships for new events, and participating in cross-channel marketing initiatives. Must travel up to 40% (weekend availability required) and perform other duties as assigned. Education: High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree preferred; 2–4 years of experience with large sponsorships or agency-side campaigns; strong organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills; proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; cable/telecom/mobile industry experience preferred.
