Job Summary
Lead planning and execution for fundraising, volunteer, advocacy, homeowner, donor stewardship, retail, and staff engagement events. Oversee project management, logistics, vendor coordination, communications, and guest experience while collaborating across departments, sponsors, community partners, and stakeholders. Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission to advance affordable homeownership and racial equity. Requires four years of event planning experience, strong project management skills, and ability to travel locally with a valid driver's license. Preference given to applicants who apply within four weeks of the posting date.
Required Qualifications
- Four years of experience planning and managing events, including fundraising, donor, community, volunteer, or public-facing events.
- Strong project management, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills, including experience managing timelines, logistics, budgets, vendors, contracts, guest experience, communications, and stakeholder expectations across multiple projects.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with sponsors, donors, volunteers, vendors, community partners, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally to event sites and organizational locations as needed.
- Valid driver's license with good driving record.
- Personal auto insurance compliant with TCHFH Driver's Policy.
