Job Summary
Events Manager to own end-to-end planning and execution of Roo's tradeshow and conference program, handling 20-30 events per year from national shows to regional activations. Own six-figure budgets, manage booth logistics and staffing, coordinate with Sales, Partnerships, and Marketing, drive pipeline and measurable business impact, and bring a creative, brand-forward approach to booth design, experiential activations, and post-show follow-up. Role includes remote work with a hybrid option if based in San Francisco, collaboration with Product Marketing, Partnerships, and Events teams, and travel to events.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in event management, tradeshow coordination, or field marketing
- Proven experience managing six-figure event budgets with strong attention to spend tracking, forecasting, and trade-off decisions
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple events in different planning stages
- Experience with end-to-end tradeshow logistics: booth setup, vendor contracting, shipping, on-site operations, and teardown
- Strong cross-functional communication skills across Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships
- Brand sensibility and attention to booth materials and branding quality
- Genuine curiosity about event and consumer culture trends and ability to translate learnings into activation ideas
- Familiarity with tools like Webflow, HubSpot, Canva, Google Sheets, Notion, and trade show logistics platforms
- Comfort with regular travel (~30-40%), including multi-day conferences and weekend events
- Veterinary industry experience is a plus but not required
